La prima edizione del Trofeo “MILITES ET TYMPANUM” a Gualdo Cattaneo si è tenuta nel 2014, all’interno del programma dei festeggiamenti di fine estate
dell’Agosto-Settembre Gualdese.
I ragazzi del Gruppo Tamburini, avendo iniziato a partecipare ad alcune gare nei piccoli borghi umbri e regioni limitrofe, sentirono l’esigenza di ricambiare l’ospitalità ricevuta, impegnandosi ad organizzare una gara anche a Gualdo, per offrire uno spettacolo di qualità al proprio paese e per creare una rete di relazioni, conoscenze ed eventi che possano far crescere artisticamente e arricchire umanamente tutti i ragazzi che si dedicano ad una forma d’arte che va preservata ed incentivata.
L’obiettivo che il Gruppo Tamburini di Gualdo si prefigge è quello di creare continuità con le generazioni future e quello di allargare il più possibile a livello nazionale lo scambio artistico e culturale che queste esibizioni offrono.

The first edition of the Trophy "MILITES ET TYMPANUM" in Gualdo Cattaneo was held in 2014, as part of the program of the end-of-summer festivities
of August-September Gualdese.
The boys of the Tamburini Group, having started to participate in some competitions in small Umbrian villages and neighboring regions, felt the need to reciprocate the hospitality received, committing to organize a race also in Gualdo, to offer a quality show to their country and to create a network of relationships, knowledge and events that can grow artistically and enrich humanly all children who devote themselves to an art form that must be preserved and encouraged.
The goal that the Tamburini Group of Gualdo aims to create continuity with future generations and to expand as much as possible at national level the artistic and cultural exchange that these performances offer.
